Following our usual format, the first hour of the seminar will be conducted by Ken Hafft, a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, CPA, and Manager at the Accounting Firm of Frost, Ruttenberg & Rothblatt, P.C. (FR&R) Ken will provide an introduction to "What QuickBooks Can Do for You."  The speech is a primer on using this popular accounting software package for your business.

As an added bonus, Gary Barron, CPA and Partner at FR&R will provide a year end tax planning overview in a speech called "Dealing with Taxes in an Uncertain Economic Environment."   

Daliah Saper, Principal Attorney at Saper Law Offices, LLC will conclude the seminar with an explanation of the legal pitfalls of failing to keep adequate books and records.  Her lecture will include a definition of “Piercing the Corporate Veil” and an overview of illustrative case studies.  Attendees will learn strategies to minimize their personal exposure in the event of a lawsuit against their business.
